Following major research with the New Zealand productivity Commission, we designed for Callahan innovation New Zealand's first dynamic capability programme for a cohort of R&D intensive firms to accelerate their innovation capability.

PCG is assisting a surge (low income per capita) region to benefit from the Provincial Growth Fund (PGF) and what comes after: designing industry clusters; writing / reviewing business cases; identifying social wellbeing levers, and working with Iwi and communities to realise those gains.

We are seeking to understand long term market changes, and to build response options and their implications for business strategy and systems. We are also helping build our client into a sector leader in the policy process to help orchestrate private sector activity and investment to green the fleet and build a low-carbon economy.

Polis Consulting Group was engaged to work across one of New Zealand's largest fastest growing and highest exporting regions to align multiple local government organisations into a set of long term strategic priorities. This work included strategic design for a programme of work to transition the region to a low emissions economy and to accommodate growth and infrastructure provision more effectively and with greater certainty and better partnerships with central government.

We played a major role and the research and strategy development process across technology, regional development, better infrastructure planning and delivery decision making, and Maori development working directly with executives and governance level decision makers. This complex market entry strategy, into a heavily regulated market segment involved deep economic analysis, engagement with regulators, competitive scanning and analysis and clear recommendations for the board. our work continues on other entry strategies into major OECD markets around the globe.
